Build from source
Build the CLI from a QS Store source checkout with Rust and Cargo installed:
cargo install --path client/cli
# Or build a release binary
cargo build --release --manifest-path client/cli/Cargo.toml
./target/release/qs-store --helpOnly the Linux x86_64 ZIP is currently published. A signed binary download channel for more platforms is planned.
Validate and install a widget
# Validate a widget directory or ZIP
qs-store validate ./my-widget
# Install an artifact locally
qs-store install ./my-widget.zip
# Review installed versions and enable one
qs-store list
qs-store enable org.qsstore.clock
qs-store info org.qsstore.clockManage safely
Recover
Use rollback to return to the previous installed version, or disable a widget without removing its files.
Inspect
Use doctor to check the local environment. Artifact hashes are recorded so a downloaded file can be verified before installation.
qs-store disable org.qsstore.clock
qs-store rollback org.qsstore.clock
qs-store remove org.qsstore.clock
qs-store doctorRead before installing
Manifest permissions describe declared capabilities; they are not a sandbox. Review a widget's source, author, license, compatibility, and SHA-256 before installing third-party QML.
